Auditions & PERFORMANCES
COME ROCK with us
Youth going into grades 5-12 in 2024-2025 school year audition to be a part of We Rock Kids Band, We Rock Teen Band, We Rock Voices, or We Rock Symphony. This group of 40 youth attend weekly band rehearsals or choir practices and learn from incredible teaching musicians and their rad peers.
Youth MUST attend a minimum of 10 rehearsals to be able to perform with their groups at Festival in the Park.
We Rock Band & Voices is an enrichment program and welcomes ALL gender identities.

At We Rock Charlotte students learn much more than how to rock!
Our summer curriculum teaches these diverse individuals to learn, create, and collaborate through musical exploration. Our group classes build allyship and empower youth to find their voice through their instruments.
This community is a safe space for campers to explore and affirm their identities, using positive and inclusive language across all genders, races, ethnicities, socio-economic levels, immigration statuses, abilities (physical, cognitive and mental), and more.
We Rock Charlotte teaches the importance of establishing ONE VOICE as a group through collaboration. By uniting musical education with social justice programs, We Rock Charlotte teaches youth to stand up for themselves and each other as artists, activists, and allies.
