Join local artists from across the Charlotte area for a night of original music, incredible performances, and community. All participating bands will attend a required sound check on October 15, with the competition taking place on October 16.

Charlotte Battle of the Bands Application
Charlotte has an incredible original music scene, and we want to celebrate it.
Charlotte is home to countless incredible bands, but many of us operate in different pockets of the local music scene. The Battle of the Bands brings those communities together for one night, giving musicians and fans alike the chance to discover new music, support one another, and celebrate the creativity happening all across the city!
This event is also a fundraiser for We Rock Charlotte, a nonprofit that uses music to build confidence, community, and opportunities for girls, women, trans, and gender-expansive musicians. Every ticket sold helps support our programs, scholarships, and events, so by participating, you're helping make more music happen in Charlotte.
