Venue policies

We’re excited to welcome you to We Rock Charlotte’s backyard stage at 423 E. 22nd St, Charlotte, NC. Our outdoor venue is a community space designed for creativity, connection, and safety. Please read these policies before attending a show.

Masking and Health Safety

  • Some shows may require masks based on artist or community request. Mask requirements will always be listed on the event page and posted at entry.

  • If masks are required, please bring your own or ask staff for one at the door (limited supply).

  • Please stay home if you are sick or have been recently exposed to illness.
     

Bag Policy

  • To keep the space secure and clutter-free, small bags only are permitted (no larger than 12” x 12” x 6”).

  • Backpacks, large totes, and hard-sided containers are not allowed.

  • All bags are subject to inspection at entry.

  • No outside alcohol or glass containers are allowed.
     

Prohibited Items

  • Weapons of any kind (including pocket knives or pepper spray)

  • Illegal substances

  • Outside alcohol or drugs

  • Fireworks or open flames

  • Laser pointers or drones

  • Pets (except service animals)
     

Accessibility

  • The backyard is paved and wheelchair accessible.

  • Folding chairs are available; guests may also bring their own chairs.

  • If you need accommodations, email info@werockclt.org ahead of the event.
     

Respect the Space

  • We are located in a residential neighborhood, so please be mindful of noise when arriving and leaving.

  • Smoking and vaping are not permitted in the backyard.

  • This is a sober space unless otherwise noted.

  • Respect others’ personal space and the physical property.
     

Photo & Video

  • We often take photos and videos for promotional use. By entering the event, you consent to your image being used by We Rock Charlotte.
     

Emergency & Weather

  • In case of severe weather, events may be delayed, rescheduled, or moved indoors when possible.

  • In the event of an emergency, please follow directions from We Rock staff or volunteers.

 

Code of Conduct

We Rock Charlotte is committed to maintaining a space that is inclusive, respectful, and harassment-free for all participants regardless of race, gender, age, orientation, or ability.


Harassment, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind will result in removal from the event without refund.
